The mission of the Buildings & Grounds Commission is to advise the Pastor, Finance Council, & Facility Manager regarding the maintenance of the Parish properties. When appropriate, the commission will utilize volunteers to complete specific projects.
Building and Grounds Update
After going through a very thorough security assessment of our entire campus, the Building and Grounds Committee is working on putting a phased plan in place for upgrading the security of the campus, starting with the school building. This plan will include upgrading the some of the interior doors, adding more security cameras and adding an access system that would eliminate keys as much as possible. B&G, as well as all the staff, is dedicated to provide a safe place for our children to attend school and parishioners to attend mass as well as ensuring the safety of all of our employees. Phase 1 is estimated to cost about $100,000. We will be putting a Graph up in the Greeting Room in Church where you can see where the funds are coming from to pay for this capital project. Some of the funds will come from our successful One Faith One Hope One Love capital campaign.
