Fingerprinting for Volunteers
A background check
(fingerprinting) is required for all clerics, employees and volunteers.
Anyone who was fingerprinted before VIRTUS began, does not need
to repeat it unless he/she has changed the location at which he/she
works or volunteer or if
he/she has been officially listed as inactive for more than one year.
In either of these cases, a new background check (fingerprinting) is
required. Also, a signed FP-1 is required if one wants the parish to
pay for the background check. Without it, the employee or volunteer
will need to pay out-of-pocket when he/she is fingerprinted. Fr.
Armstrong, Steffany Reid (parish office), Mr. Jack Corey and Deacon Bob
Schroeder (school office) are authorized to sign the FP-1. Please call
ahead when the FP-1 is needed.
